Peelander-Z implore you to “Get Glasses”

Nobody likes a squinter. Which is why the latest single from Peelander-Z offers up a valuable public service announcement: “Get Glasses, Dumbass!” (OK, I added the “Dumbass” part. But it’s implied in the song’s rowdy beat.)

In other news from Planet Peelander, the Japanese punk action comic band’s fearless leader, Peelander Yellow, is playing a special acoustic set at Guzu Gallery in Austin, as part of the opening night of his solo art show. And while an acoustic Peelander-Z set kinda sounds like pizza with no crust or sex with no nipple clamps, we’re sure his wacky artwork will more than make up for the lack of electric mayhem.

The Guzu Gallery show happens July 13th. After that, the tireless Peelanderers are playing a few more shows:
