During the tour, a well-wisher gave Meghan a bouquet of flowers, and seconds later, a royal aide reached out to take them from the duchess’s hands, but refused to hand them over. She then pointed to where she told the assistant she was going to put them herself before turning her back. Social media erupted over the tense exchange.
The mourner who captured the video and posted it on Twitter wrote: “The first assistant tried unsuccessfully to take the flowers.”
That same user then posted a second video of another assistant insisting on retrieving Meghan’s flowers and even asking Harry to intervene. tweeting:: “Heavy weapons had to intervene when Meghan refused to release the flowers that the first assistant tried to take from her, since she herself wanted to take them to the other tributes.”
Meghan eventually agreed to deliver the flowers, but she didn’t seem too happy about it.

According to the Mirrorthat spat started when Harry interrupted the duchess’s conversation with Zara Tindall and Meghan didn’t seem pleased.
A lip reader told the publication that the prince commented on how the chapel looked different from when they were married there months earlier. Meghan replied: “Yes of course, that’s the way.” She then threw up her hands in apparent exasperation and rolled her eyes before continuing her conversation with Harry’s cousin.
Body language experts claimed that the Duchess’s behavior towards the Duke during this time appeared to be her way of “scolding Harry and treating him like a naughty child”.
