Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has started paying salaries to state workers.

The was contained in a statement shared on Adeleke’s verified account. Twitter account on Monday, signed by his spokesman, Mallam Olawale Rashid.

Adeleke also pointed out that “any Ministry, Department or Agency that does not present its salary scale by today (Monday) at the latest will be sanctioned. Any agency head who obstructs the scheduling process will face disciplinary proceedings.”

“This warning is a continuation of the report that some agencies continue to adhere to their agency schedules despite His Excellency’s directive.

“Governor Ademola Adeleke had ordered last week the immediate conclusion of the documentation for the payment of salaries. This followed a report that some 45 agencies have yet to submit their payment schedule.

“Currently, the payment of salaries is in progress from the Ministry of Justice,” the statement added.
