Michael Connelly Shares ‘Bosch: Legacy’ Season 2 Update
On December 11, Connelly took Twitter to share an update on Bosco: Legacy Season 2. Filming has wrapped with filming for the new episodes, the best-selling author wrote. It looks like fans should get ready for an exciting second season of the crime drama.
“We just finished filming another season of Bosco: Legacy And I think after nine seasons of telling the Bosch story, we’ve reached a high point,” he wrote. “We adapted THE CROSSING (2015) but we added new things and of course it paid off. cliffhanger from last season.”
That cliffhanger involved Maddie (Madison Lintz), the daughter of private detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), turned retired cop. At the end of Season 1, the rookie LAPD officer was apparently kidnapped by the Screen Cutter, a serial rapist whose crimes he has been investigating.
Season 2 of ‘Bosch: Legacy’ still does not have a release date
Bosco: Legacy it’s a Prime Video continuation the forest. Both shows are based on books by Connelly, who introduced the character of Harry Bosch in his 1992 novel. The Black Echo. Bosco: Legacy premiered in May 2022 on Amazon’s Freevee streaming platform. It got a season 2 renewal even before the first episode dropped, but unfortunately for ardent fans, Amazon has yet to reveal a release date for the new episodes.
“Still not sure when the show will premiere in 2023 on Amazon Freevee/Prime,” Connelly tweeted. “But I don’t think anyone will be disappointed. titus, madison and mimi [Rogers] he delivered great performances as did the entire cast; the usual suspects, as well as some new faces. We will inform you as soon as we know when you will be able to see it and enjoy it. Thanks to everyone who watched and read and kept the Bosch universe spinning. Happy Holidays to all.”
Connelly also shared an update on ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 2.

Bosco: Legacy isn’t the only recent TV series based on a series of Connelly’s books. His novels about attorney Mickey Haller (who just happens to be Bosch’s half-brother, though the programs don’t cross) have become The Lawyer Lincoln, which premiered on Netflix in May 2022. That show, which stars Manuel García-Rulfo as Haller, has also been renewed. In mid-November, Connelly tweeted that filming has begun on the second season of the show. The Lawyer Lincoln Season 2 will be based on the book. The Fifth Witness.
