The popular game sequel Dying Stranding will be up for a film adaptation according to The Game Awards 2022. The version will feature Kojima, producing the film in parallel with Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Productions, which later financed the project. Lebovici’s memorable credit includes this year’s horror film Barbarian and also casting Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgard and Justin Long.
One of the crucial and fascinating details is that Lebovici has been credited as the managing producer for 2018’s unofficial Uncharted and a live-action quickie that includes Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake.
The new stories have confirmed that the plot will introduce some new components and characters to the Dying Stranding universe. Now, things are not entirely clear, while the predominant characters will be played by the same actors that are only seen in the game. It is made up of Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Lindsay Wagner, Tommie Earl Jenkins and Margaret Qualley.

Things are likely to be unusual, but all discussions are over as everyone is very familiar with live action movie capture.
In an official statement, Hideo Kojima said: “I couldn’t be more excited about this new partnership with Hammerstone Studios. This could be a pivotal moment for the franchise and I am looking forward to collaborating with them to bring DEATH STRANDING to the big screen.”

Alex Lebovici included”, We are excited and honored to have the opportunity to accompany the good and iconic Hideo Kojima in his first film adaptation. Unlike other big-budget online game diversifications, this can be something much more intimate and grounded. Our purpose is to redefine what an online game adaptation could be when you have inventive and inventive freedom. This movie could be a genuine “Hideo Kojima” production.
Kojima also appeared in an extended video message to celebrate the seventh anniversary of Kojima Productions. He showed the new office and confirmed that another game is in production along with ‘visible merchandise’.
