Gajraj Rao was raised in Delhi, India, despite being born in the state of Rajasthan. He was born and raised in the picturesque neighborhood of Jhankhari, which is located in the Dungarpur area of Rajasthan. His formal training was divided between the states of Rajasthan and Delhi.
