Award-winning composer, Kofi Kinaata, known privately as Martin King Arthur, has advised Ghanaians to step out of their comfort zones and take risks to learn in life.
“The little advice I want to give is to feel free and get out of your comfort zone, try certain things, take risks and that’s how we learn,” he remarked.
Speaking on Accra-based Hitz FM with Doreen Avio, the ‘Everyday’ singer stated that trying something new will bring mistakes, but criticism should help him learn as he grows.
“If you’re starting something, you’re going to start from somewhere, so if you don’t challenge yourself or free your mind and be open to trying other things, you won’t even know your strength,” he opined.
He continued, “I started out as a rapper, I wasn’t in a box so I decided to think outside the box and say it’s music that’s big so let me try everything so I said let me try singing.
“I know I’ll be criticized if I don’t sing well, but I’m fine if criticism comes and that’s how it’s supposed to be,” Kofi Kinaata said while spotted by Amansan Krakye of MyNewsGh.com
