Google is rumored to be working on a new foldable smartphone. There have been rumors that Google kills its foldable smartphone project due to strong competition. However, recent developments suggest that the maker of the Pixel 7 series is working on a foldable phone. The company is likely to launch its first foldable smartphone next year and call it the Google Pixel Fold.
The Pixel Fold will reportedly debut in May 2023. This is pretty much on the same timeline as Google I/O. Google has not confirmed any details about the foldable phone. Meanwhile, a Google smartphone, possibly the Pixel Fold, has been spotted on the Geekbench website. The listing on Geekbench confirms some key details about Google’s foldable phone.
