Hajime Moriyasu, born August 23, 1968, is a Japanese football manager and former player. Moriyasu played professional football for more than a decade for teams like Sanfrecce Hiroshima (1987-2001), Kyoto Purple Sanga (1998 on loan) Vegalta Sendai (2002-2003). He made 271 appearances for Sanfrecce Hiroshima and scored 34 goals for the club. He was a very reliable and loyal player in his day. After retiring, Moriyasu has dedicated himself to coaching and managing teams such as Sanfrecce Hiroshima (2012-17), JapanU23 (2017-21) and the Japan national team (2018-present).
