There are racing drivers, good racing drivers, great racing drivers, and then there is Bill Zardo Sr. He always had the heart, the passion and the desire to do what he loved and no one did it like him. I will miss his stories of bank runs and his annual visits to Daytona, where he would meet up with family and great friends of his and have a beer or two at the Boot Hill Saloon. Life won’t be the same without him in this world, but our fond memories of him will make sure I never forget him. My heart goes out to the Zardo and Shepherd families. There will be a great race in heaven with him and his good friend Don Biederman. what a rip
