I texted Harry today not knowing that he was in his last moments. Harry and I became friends 12 years ago when I joined the board of the Heart Association. I sat at his table at the Heart Gala and he would pick me and my friends up in his limo. He recruited me to be on the Derby Festival Board. I was his campaign manager when he ran for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man of the Year and did fundraisers and auction dates. He drove his limo to take my daughter and her friends to the beauty salon for her birthday. We have had countless dinners together. He has been my on-call Uber driver.
