Martin Bernard Duffy was an English keyboardist (keyboardist) from Birmingham. Born May 18, 1967, Duffy grew up in Rednal. He started his career after joining Felt in 1985 after frontman Lawrence sent out an invitation for a budding artist to join.
Duffy’s keyboard sound became a band attraction in the mid-1980s when they signed to Creation Records for 1986’s The Seventeenth Century. Duffy’s sound was also featured on the second side of their 1988 album.
After being with Felt until their split in 1989, Duffy joined Primal Scream that same year. He is best known for his stint on Primal Scream. After that, Duffy also played with The Charlatans after the death of Rob Collins, one of the founding members.

“I have known Martin since he was a teenager in Felt,” Gillespie stated in an Instagram post. “He played keyboards on every album of ours from the first to the last. He finally joined the band in 1991. Martin was a very special character. He had a love and understanding of music on a deep spiritual level. Music meant everything to him.”
