Multi-award winning record producer Mix Master Garzy, known in real life as Benjamin Garzy Mensah, has spoken out about the innovative nature of the beat-making industry.
“I think today, every day, things keep changing, so now we have new instruments, new equipment and new facilities coming in,” he told Amansan Krakye, the host.
“So every day we keep updating ourselves and we’re having some improvements in the music industry right now,” he added.
Speaking on Kastle FM about the improvements he has undergone over the years in the music industry, the Ghanaian sound engineer said that they keep updating themselves to meet current trends.
“When it comes to production, things are changing at least some of our tones, some of our melodies are changing, which is helping a lot to make our work very fluid,” Garzy said according to MyNewsGh.com.
In 2017, Mix Master Garzy joined Nigerian superstar Patoranking on his exclusive European tour to release his album ‘God Over Everything’, and was also Patoranking’s disc jockey (DJ) on tour.
