This is to inform all utme candidates who participated in the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Admission Selection Exercise 2022/2023 that they can now check their admission status
The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is a Nigerian government owned and operated university established in 1975 as University College, Port Harcourt and received University status in 1977. The university was located in the city of Port Harcourt, Rivers State , Nigerian. The University of Port Harcourt offers several undergraduate and graduate programs. The University of Port Harcourt was ranked 6th in Africa and 1st in Nigeria by Times Higher Education (THE) in 2015.
List of admitted UNIPORT UTME contains the names of UTME candidates who have been offered provisional admission to the University of Port Harcourt degree programs for the 2022/2023 academic session.

How to check the UNIPORT admission list
Prospective University of Port Harcourt candidates can now access their admission status online from JAMB Admission Status Verification Portalfollowing the procedure described below:
- Go to the JAMB E-Installation portal in jamb.gov.ng/efacility/.
- Sign in to your jamb profile with your Username Y key code.
- Scroll down, locate and click ‘Check admission status‘ tab.
- Select its exam year Y Get into your registration number in the required columns.
- Finally, click on ‘Check admission status‘ to access your UNIPORT admission status.
You will see the intake in progress, check back later, or UNADMITTEDeither CONGRATULATIONS.

ADMISSION IN PROGRESS?
This means that you have been recommended for admission and are only in the pipeline. With admission in progress, consider yourself admitted. Just keep checking and to see when the notification will change to congratulations you have been admitted.
NOT YET ADMITTED?
This answer simply means that you should still be considered for admission. Please check the school site and JAMB regularly for any changes. However, candidates are advised to follow the instructions below:
NB: School administration will continue to update the list as it receives updates and approval from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for recommended candidates.

You will be able to follow the procedure below once the list is uploaded to the school portal/website.
- Go to the UNIPORT admission status verification portal at https://aris.uniport.edu.ng/admissionacceptance.
- Provide your JAMB registration number in the required column.
- Finally, click on the search icon to access your UNIPORT admission offer.
