Kay Smooth-born Ghanaian vocalist and songwriter Isaac Nii Adotey Pappoe has said he is not discouraged about not blowing after actively making music for over 20 years.
Kay Smooth, who was in the same band with the late Terry Bonchaka in the late ’90s, was asked if he wasn’t bummed out about not making a breakthrough on the music scene.
“Well, I always believe that time and seasoning is a factor and there are things that God has arranged and you can never change them,” he said in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com
“Everyone has their time, so you would have to keep working and the right time that God has for you, once it is your time, it will be fulfilled,” he continued on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
He added on Kastle FM: “So for me, from when I started over 20 years ago to this stage, it’s been a real experience and sometimes that’s what happens when God wants to put you in a higher place.
“God takes you through the process to really build yourself up before you blow up and I believe in that, so it doesn’t discourage me in any way, but it’s a learning process for me,” he told Amansan Krakye in a one-on-one interview .
