(NewsNation) — NewsNation’s senior national correspondent Brian Entin spoke with the manager of a vape shop in downtown Moscow, Idaho, who says Kaylee Goncalves’ friends hinted she had a stalker during a visit to the store. three weeks before his murder.
He said that Goncalves and Maddie Mogen always came to the store with a group.
“You could tell that everyone was obviously trying to keep Kaylee safe and be there for her as good friends,” the manager said.
Goncalves apparently told her that the stalker was present at night when she was going to or coming from bars, “either on campus or on Main Street.”
Various rumors have circulated online about the Idaho murders, including the theory that Gonvalves had a stalker.
In early December, while sitting down for an interview with Entin, the Goncalves family said they are not aware of any stalkers.
However, the vape shop manager said the stalker was “apparently something Kaylee had a lot of trouble with. Apparently, she always had someone constantly walking behind her like that.”
Investigators are still looking for context and clues in the quadruple murder case. Information can be sent to detectives in the following ways:
