Leading electricity distribution company, Ikeja Electric Plc (IE), has emerged as the best electricity distribution company of the year and the most gender-diverse utility company, while the company’s chairman of the board and Sahara Group CEO Mr. Kola Adesina MFR scooped up the Power Sector Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Nigeria Power Sector Awards, organized to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and achievements in the Nigerian power sector.
Ikeja Electric CEO Folake Soetan, who received the prestigious awards, attributed the achievements to the collective efforts of management. and Ikeja Electric staff, saying, “It is our collaborative efforts and teamwork that earned us these valuable awards.
