Infinix has launched a new smartphone under the Zero line – the Infinix Zero 5G 2023. As the name suggests, the Infinix Zero 5G 2023 is an upgraded version of the Infinix Zero 5G that was launched earlier this year. The smartphone features the same design language as its predecessor. The latest Zero series smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, which brings about 10% improvements over the Dimensity 900 that powers the Infinix Zero 5G.

The new Zero 5G 2023 flaunts a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (2460 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 500nits peak brightness. The display panel makes room for a front-facing selfie shooter inside a punch-hole notch.
The latest Zero series smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU. The Dimensity 1080 offers a 10% CPU and 8% GPU improvement, respectively, compared to the Dimensity 900. This is the same processor that powers the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Realme 10 Pro series smartphones. The smartphone comes paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The new Zero 5G 2023 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. It offers several features including Super Night mode, Night Filter, Sky Remap, and Film mode. You can also record slow motion videos at 960fps. It relies on a 16MP front-facing shooter and dual LED flashes for selfies and video calls.
The latest Zero series smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can last for about 29 days on standby mode. It makes use of a Type-C port for data transfer and charging. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also has a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also supports a microSD card (up to 256 GB). The smartphone is also Hi-Res Audio certified.
The 2023 Infinix Zero 5G comes in three color options: Pearly White, Coral Orange, and Black. It weighs 201 grams and measures 168.73 × 76.53 × 8.9 mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass, and BeiDou.
