Mariah Carey’s Christmas this year is steeped in tradition
Christmas is Carey’s favorite holiday. Every year, fans look forward to ringing in the festive season with Carey leading the charge. While many are rushing to make plans, Carey focuses on the traditions she established with her boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, and her 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
“It’s a busy time of year for me, but I try to have a few days where we just hang out at home, relax, decorate, and cook some of our favorite holiday treats, including my veggie spreads!” she said ME! News. “We also love traveling to Aspen, which really feels like a winter wonderland. Children go to the slopes, play in the snow. It’s kind of a holiday experience that we can’t have at home.”

Now that the twins are older, their gift list has changed dramatically. But Carey makes it her job to get them the world. “Usually they have their lists and are very excited to guide me through this new game and this new device,” she continued. “I want them to have everything they want. I want them to have everything that I couldn’t and to know that they can be whoever they choose. [be]. They are always on Santa’s ‘nice’ list, so surprises are always a treat.”

“They wanted to do it!” she told E! News about the performance of her twins. “There aren’t many times I perform where they don’t want to be a part of the moment, that’s part of what’s great about them! It’s up to them when they want to do it and when they don’t. They are the sweetest and most beautiful gift I have received in my life.
Even more exciting, Carey will be treating fans to special Christmas concerts this year, both in New York and across Canada. Term reports that CBS will present Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas everyone! on Tuesday, December 20. The special will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

While Carey has made Christmas part of her brand, she unfortunately lost out on the trademark offering in “christmas queen.” The offer came under scrutiny from some of his musical peers, but that didn’t stop him from giving it a try.
