Insurgency: Troops Neutralize Bandits in Kaduna State


Nigerian army troops have neutralized several bandits during clearing operations in bandit enclaves around the Idasu, Fatika and Makera forests in the Giwa Local Government Area of ​​Kaduna state.

State Homeland Security and Home Affairs Commissioner Samuel Aruwan confirmed the development in a statement Tuesday in Kaduna.

Aruwan said the development was revealed in operational feedback to the state government.

“According to the report, many bandits have been confirmed to be neutralized so far, while others still fled with gunshot wounds to the Hayin Siddi area around the interstate boundaries.

He said the state government took note of the report with satisfaction and sincerely congratulated the troops on the success while urging them to keep moving forward.

“The Government calls on the citizens of these general areas to report to the security operations room suspicious people who seek medical attention for gunshot wounds, to the telephones 09034000060 and 08170189999.

“Offensives in the general area are in progress and citizens will be updated on new developments,” Aruwan said.
