iQOO recently launched the iQOO 11 5G series in China. The company has launched two premium smartphones namely the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro. At the time of the global unveiling, the company confirmed that the iQOO 11 series will launch in India in January 2023. The press release stated that the iQOO 11 will debut on January 10 in India. There was no mention of the 11 Pro, which led to multiple rumors and speculation about the phone’s launch in India.

Now, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed that the 11 Pro will not launch alongside the vanilla flagship in January 2023. Marya confirmed the news with 91Mobiles and said that the 11 Pro could arrive at a later date. , but there are no concrete plans yet. .

The 11 Pro shares some hardware with the 11 5G. The key differences are in the camera, display, and battery departments. The 11 Pro has a curved screen, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP portrait telephoto camera. It also packs a 4700 mAh battery and supports 200W fast charging out of the box.

iQOO 11 5G: expected price in India, specifications

The iQOO 11 5G is expected to launch in India with at least two storage options. Its base model could come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top storage option with 256GB of memory is likely to be paired with 12GB of RAM. It is not known if the 16 GB RAM variant will be available in India.

In China, the base model of the iQOO 11 starts at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs 44,900). We can expect the Indian price to be around Rs 50,000. The device is confirmed to go on sale in India on January 13.

The 11 5G is available in three colors: Green, Alpha, and Legend. The Indian variant is likely to come in Alpha and Legend shades. The device sports a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate support and 2K resolution. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the 16MP front-facing camera.

The 11 5G also comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging out of the box. The triple camera setup of the phone at the back features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP telephoto camera sensor with 2x optical zoom. There’s a custom Vivo V2 Image Signal Processor (ISP), which is claimed to offer improved performance when shooting videos in low light or taking portrait photos.
