The iQOO 11 launch event is just around the corner. The company has confirmed that it will host an event on December 2 in China and Malaysia to introduce the new flagship smartphone. The iQOO 11 5G will launch alongside the Neo 7 SE 5G and possibly the 11 Pro 5G. The company has already started releasing teasers about its upcoming flagship phone.
iQOO has confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The company has now released more teasers, confirming more details about the phone. Let’s take a look at the so far known specifications, features and other details of the iQOO 11 5G.
iQOO 11 5G: Everything confirmed or filtered so far
The iQOO 11 5G will launch on December 2 as a successor to the iQOO 10 5G, which launched earlier this year in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed some of the key specifications of the phone. iQOO previously confirmed that the device will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. However, the base model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage will have the UFS 3.1 storage standard. The latest trailer further reveals the phone’s battery capacity and fast charging details.
The iQOO 11 will pack a beefy 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging out of the box. The company kept the same charging speed as the iQOO 10, but increased the battery capacity by 300 mAh.
Apart from this, iQOO has confirmed that the phone will sport an AMOLED E6 display with 2K resolution. The display will come with smooth 144Hz refresh rate support. Earlier, the company confirmed that the phone’s display will support 1440 Hz PWM dimming and a maximum brightness of 1800 nits.
The teaser images show the phone in its Legend color option, which has three colored stripes at the top of the white rear panel. A seperation filtration shows alpha color option too.
The iQOO flagship phone will feature a triple camera setup with a V2. The custom ISP developed by Vivo is claimed to improve low-light video recording and portrait mode capabilities.
Some of the other leaked details include a 6.78-inch Samsung display with curved corners and Android 13-based Origin OS 3 software out of the box. The camera setup of the device will include a 50MP main camera sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP portrait sensor. For selfies, the phone will feature a 16MP front-facing camera sensor.
iQOO is expected to launch the phone in January 2023 in India and other markets. We will share more details on the same when it becomes available.
