The iQOO 11 series is scheduled to launch on December 8. The company has confirmed the new launch date of its new flagship smartphones in China and Indonesia. The iQOO 11 series will include two new premium smartphones. These are the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro 5G. The company has confirmed some key details about the two flagship phones. The remaining details have been leaked by the rumor mill.
The latest set of leaks reveals a few more details about the two iQOO smartphones. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared an image, which reveals iQOO 11 series specifications and color options. The image was most likely posted on Weibo. Let’s take a look at the iQOO 11 series specs, features, and other details leaked ahead of launch.
The iQOO 11 series will launch with a different set of cameras
The iQOO 11 Pro will sit at the top of the line with its premium hardware. The vanilla model will sport the same design as the Pro variant. iQOO has already teased the phones in its Alpha and Legend color options. The leaked image now reveals the green color variant, which was first leaked via a design render. The images show us the rear panel of the phones, which sports a rectangular camera module for the triple camera setup.
The 11 Pro 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera sensor with a 50MP ultra-wide camera with 150-degree fisheye lens and a 13MP portrait telephoto camera. The vanilla model, on the other hand, will feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 13MP portrait telephoto camera. iQOO has confirmed that both phones will feature the new Image Signal Processor (ISP) V2, which will help with low-light video recording and portrait shots.
Both phones will come with a 2K E6 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The only difference between the two in terms of display is that the 11 Pro has a 6.78-inch curved display, while the vanilla model’s display is flat. The 11 Pro is also said to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Both models will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The company has confirmed that the phones will come with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. However, some reports suggest that the base models of both phones will come with UFS 3.1 storage. The iQOO 11 is said to launch with 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB storage options. The 11 Pro, on the other hand, will launch with 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB storage options.
The 11 Pro will pack a 4,700mAh battery with support for 200W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The vanilla model will pack a larger 5,000mAh battery and will come with 120W fast charging support. 5G standard will not support wireless charging.
The upcoming iQOO flagship smartphones will run Origin OS Forest based on Android 13 out of the box. The India/global variant will boot Funtouch OS 13.
