iQOO recently launched the Neo 7 SE in China. The device features the new Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is the new upper-midrange SoC from MediaTek. It sits below the iQOO Neo 7, which was also released a couple of months ago. The company is not done releasing smartphones in its Neo 7 series as a new racing edition is reportedly in the works. According to a new report, the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition will be released soon.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming iQOO smartphone. The Vivo sub-brand will launch its next performance smartphone with a Snapdragon processor under the hood. iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition Launch Announced
The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition will reportedly be the third smartphone in the lineup. The company has yet to confirm the launch details. Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed (via) that the phone will launch with the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The SoC has a maximum clock speed of 3.2 GHz. Neo 7 Racing is also said to be Edition comes with up to 16 GB of RAM under the hood. It will offer up to 512 GB of internal storage. We can expect iQOO to launch the phone with 8GB/12GB RAM options as well.
In addition to the performance unit details, the tipster also revealed the screen size and features. Digital Chat Station claims that the phone will have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ tall display. The screen size is the same as the Neo 7 SE and the flagship iQOO 11 series. The AMOLED screen will also support a 120Hz refresh rate, which is expected of a premium iQOO smartphone.
Furthermore, the tipster revealed that the phone will offer support for 120W fast charging out of the box. There is no information on the battery capacity, but we can expect it to be between 4700 mAh and 5000 mAh.
Other details of the phone are currently under wraps. iQOO has not confirmed any details about the launch of the Racing Edition smartphone. If released, the phone will likely sit somewhere between the Neo 7 SE and Neo 7. The latter features a Dimensity 9000+ SoC, while the Neo 7 SE has a Dimensity 8200 SoC.
