Ghanaian musician Nana Kwame Appiasei, born in Smallgod, has revealed that he has been behind the scenes in the music industry managing artists for the past 15 years.
“I used to manage artists and I used to be behind the scenes for like 15 years. I’ve been behind the scenes just connecting and helping people do their thing,” said the 45-year-old.
This was revealed in an interview with Amansan Krakye, on the Kastle Entertainment Show when he was asked what finally made him decide to actively venture into music.
“I think in the year 2020, when Covid hit, I decided to start like moving to the forefront of music to become an artist, so that’s where I started,” he added as seen by MyNewsGh.com
He continued: “In the time of Covid, I was at home and nothing was happening and I was trying to figure out what to do and a lot of new ideas would come to my mind.
“So I felt like it allowed me to put music together and I’ve been here for the last 15 years so I knew how to put everything together and that’s what I did,” Smallgod told the host.
