Karim Benzema is back in full training, but is he fit enough to play in the FIFA World 2022 final?

Despite missing the rest of the tournament due to injury, Karim Benzema could play for France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina.

The France and Real Madrid star was ruled out of the World Cup after picking up a thigh injury during pre-tournament training in Qatar. After her injury, Benzema he was forced to return to Madrid, where he began working on his recovery, and his chances of competing in the tournament seemed over.

Benzema’s tear was given three weeks to recover, he left Doha and went on the disabled list as a Pablo PogbaLucas Hernández, Presnel Kimpembe, N’Golo Kante, and Christopher Nkunku.

However, on the eve of France’s first game against Australia, manager Didier Deschamps chose not to replace Benzema. Instead of 26, he worked with 25 players in Qatar and led Les Bleus to the final after a resounding 2-0 win over fierce Morocco.

So now the real question arises: will Benzema play in the final against Argentina or not? Real Madrid have reportedly given Benzema permission, but the decision is in the hands of Didier Deschamps. However, when questioned by reporters about the possibility after Morocco’s victory, the France coach did not answer. Benzema has 37 goals in 97 appearances for France and was Les Bleus’ top scorer at the 2014 World Cup.

This is not the first time Benzema has missed a World Cup event, he also missed the 2018 FIFA World Cup because he was cut from the squad due to his involvement in a scandal.
