Matthew Perry’s father-in-law, Keith Morrison made his first public statement
“Hew would have appreciated it.”A month after the passing of the Friends actor, Matthew Perry’s father-in-law, Keith Morrison, made his first public statement in honor of his son-in-law. The interpreter for Chandler Bing passed away at his Los Angeles, California, residence on October 28. Not only is the comedian relative, who is only 54 years old, shocked, but so are internet users.
The actor’s family plans to carry on his foundation’s efforts to assist those who are addicted to drugs or alcohol, a cause that was dear to his heart, as a memorial to his battle against addiction. Keith Morrison requested donations on X (previously Twitter) in honor of “Giving Tuesday,” a day to honor charitable giving: “I don’t typically do things like that. This year, however, is different. And ‘Giving Tuesday’ is tomorrow. Try your best; he would have appreciated it.
The mission of the Matthew Perry Foundation is to fulfill “Matthew’s unwavering dedication to assisting those suffering from addiction.” She will uphold its legacy, follow her own advice and experiences, and be motivated by her desire to positively impact as many lives as she can.
