Keith Urban was born on October 26, 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand. He grew up in Brisbane, Australia, in a family loving country music. He has been strumming the strings since he was six years old. In 2013, Keith Urban appeared as a new juror for season 12 of American Idol, alongside the unbeatable Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. The same year, the singer launched his own line of guitars, stamped with his name. In 2016, he released his tenth solo album, Ripcord, in still rock form with a background of Americana and six-string banjo.
Voted “the sexiest man in country music” in 2006, the singer married actress Nicole Kidman on June 25 that same year. She pushed her husband to treat his drug addiction in rehab. On July 7, 2008, the family grew with the birth of Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. On December 28, 2010, their second daughter Faith Margaret was born.
