Lenovo, a couple of weeks ago, launched the Lenovo Tab M8 4th Gen tablet. Now, the brand has launched another tablet – the Lenovo Tab M9 within its line of tablets. As the name suggests, the Lenovo Tab M9 comes equipped with a 9-inch display panel. Lenovo’s latest Tab M9 sits between the Lenovo Tab M8 and Tab M10 lineup. Similar to the Lenovo Tab M8, the Tab M9 is an entry-level tablet and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor.
The Lenovo Tab M9 is backed by a 5100 mAh battery unit. It includes a Type-C port and supports 15W fast charging. The tablet offers an 8 MP rear camera and has up to 128 GB of internal storage. For video calls, Lenovo has equipped the device with a 2MP front-facing camera and a microphone. Let’s take a closer look at the price, specs, and features of the Lenovo Tab M9.
Lenovo Tab M9: price and availability
The Lenovo Tab M9 comes in three variants: 3 GB + 32 GB, 4 GB + 64 GB, and 4 GB + 128 GB. Pricing for the Tab M9 starts at $139.99 (roughly Rs 11,600) and it will be available from Q2 2023.

The new Tab M9 flaunts a 9-inch LCD display panel with a resolution of 1340×800 pixels, a maximum brightness of 400 nits, and a pixel density of 176ppi. The tablet has Widevine L1 and TÜV Rheinland eye care certifications and also offers a reading mode.
Under the hood, Lenovo’s latest tablet packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G52 GPU. The Helio G80 uses 2 Cortex A75 cores (performance) and 6 Cortex A55 cores (efficiency). This is the same processor that powers the Reame Pad and Lenovo Tab M10 Plus. The Lenovo Tab M9 comes preloaded with Android 12 and is ready for the Android 13 update according to the company.
The new Tab M9 comes equipped with a 5100 mAh battery unit and 15W fast charging support. Lenovo claims that the Tab M9 can last for 13 hours of video playback on a single charge. It relies on a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
Lenovo’s latest tablet offers an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The tablet features a two-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio and has a microphone for video calls. On the security front, it offers the face unlock feature as it lacks the fingerprint scanner.
The Lenovo Tab M9 comes in two color options: Arctic Gray and Frost Blue. It weighs 344 grams and measures 215.43mm × 136.76mm × 7.99mm. As for connectivity, it is compatible with WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. Lenovo has also released a clear sleeve and a folio case for the Lenovo Tab M9.
