‘NCIS’ Season 20 Fall Finale Sees Ratings Tank

This is the first full season without Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs), which could explain the decline in scores. His departure was the latest in a series of major cast changes that have occurred in recent seasons. And after almost 20 years on the air, it seems that fans are starting to lose interest.
Throughout the 2010s, NCIS it was consistently at the top of the ratings and regularly drew 12–15 million viewers live. It was considered the most watched drama on television for years, but the show officially lost that title.
