Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, he said the award ceremony was themed Innovation in Capital Markets: The Panacea for Exponential Growth It was designed to recognize outstanding performance by capital market stakeholders across multiple categories as the fiscal year comes to a close for many stakeholders.
According to her, the nomination and selection process was intensely analytical, as NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) analyzed a large amount of data generated by the exchange and had its accuracy verified by an independent auditor.
“As you can see, the process was made transparent and verifiable. We hope that the Awards will encourage companies to continue to hold themselves to higher standards and ensure that their stakeholders hold them accountable for meeting higher standards.

Ms. Robinson-Ayanwale added that NGX will focus on driving more listings, running more capacity building programs across different capital market stakeholder groups and driving its sustainability agenda in 2023.
