The Nubia RedMagic 8 Pro could feature a transparent back

The Nubia RedMagic 8 Pro has been spotted again on the TENAA website under the model number NX729J. The design of the device has been leaked online. The updated listing shows that the phone continues to sport a triple camera setup at the back. There is a vertically aligned camera module on the back, which sits at the top center. The LED flash is placed on top of the camera module. The phone has a kind of boxy design and it may remind you of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

On the front, the screen appears to be surrounded by some slim bezels as there are no visible notches. The phone’s frame is also flat and houses the volume buttons on the left. The right edge has a power button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

A previous listing on TENAA revealed that the phone will have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1116×2480 pixels. It is rumored to support a refresh rate of at least 165 Hz. There will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The phone will also support fast charging up to 165W, according to details revealed via a 3C listing.

The phone is rumored to launch with two different battery options. One of the variants will have a nominal 5720 mAh battery capacity, while the other will have a 4900 mAh unit.

The rear camera setup is also said to feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro/depth sensor. For selfies and streaming, there will be an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is likely to launch with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. You could also get an updated version of the Red Core 1 chip, which is supposed to improve the gaming and audio experience. We can also expect the phone to run Android 13 out of the box with a RedMagic OS layer on top.
