OnePlus 11 5G: What you should know

According to rumors, the OnePlus 11 5G will launch in at least two colors: Forest Emerald and Volcanic Black. The colors are the same as the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, which launched earlier this year.

Official images of the OnePlus 11 were also leaked, revealing its rear panel design. The device is likely to come with a mix of matte, frosted, and glossy materials on the back. The rear panel of the Green variant appears to have a frosted finish with the camera module sporting a glossy finish. Meanwhile, the camera array has the characteristic black finish. The Volcanic Black variant, on the other hand, appears to have a textured matte finish with the glossy camera module.

While we’re at it, the camera module will house a triple camera setup and an LED flash. Right at the center of the camera array is the Hasselblad brand, highlighting the company’s collaboration with the legendary camera maker. The camera module extends into the frame, which could be made of metal to house the alert slider and power buttons on the right edge.

OnePlus has already confirmed the launch of its next flagship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Other sets of leaks include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. The curved screen will come with a hole-punch cutout in the upper left corner for the 32MP front-facing camera. The display will also offer support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

Around the back, the phone is said to come with a new 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto sensor. There will be 8GB, 12GB and also a 16GB RAM variant in select markets. The phone is likely to offer up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. OnePlus is said to include a 5000 mAh battery in the phone. It will offer 100W fast charging support. There is no information about any support for wireless charging. Lastly, the phone is likely to arrive in India with OxygenOS 13 based on Oxygen OS 13. The China variant will boot ColorOS 13 out of the box.
