OnePlus 11 India launch date has been announced. The company has confirmed that it will host its first flagship smartphone event on February 7 in India. At the event titled Cloud 11, the company will present its latest flagship products. OnePlus confirmed that the upcoming flagship smartphone will mark the return of two user-favorite features: Hasselblad-tuned cameras and the alert slider.
The company has already teased the design of its new flagship phone’s camera module. There is a triple camera setup and an LED flash module placed inside a circular camera cutout found on the rear panel. Along with the OnePlus 11 5G, the company will also launch its new flagship truly wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
As for the moniker, the OnePlus 11 5G will replace the OnePlus 9 5G as the company did not release the OnePlus 10. However, according to the leaked specifications, the device could well be the successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro. According to rumors, the phone will include Pro hardware for smartphones. This includes a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is curved and will have a hole-punch cutout in the top left corner for the 32MP front-facing camera.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 11 5G will feature Qualcomm’s latest SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will pack a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, according to rumors. The phone is also said to come with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The triple camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto sensor.
OnePlus is expected to launch the phone in two colors. The company has already teased the black color option. There is also a green color variant of the phone. It will launch with Oxygen OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Regarding the India price, we can expect the phone to be priced between Rs 50,000 and Rs 60,000 at least for the base model. OnePlus will announce the official sale date and offers at the launch event.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 to accompany
The company has also confirmed the launch of its flagship Buds Pro 2 TWS at the OnePlus 11 India launch event. OnePlus stated that the upcoming premium TWS will deliver a “full-bodied stereo quality audio experience with crystal clarity.”
Design renders of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have leaked in the past. The renders suggest that the TWS will have the same design as the current generation model. The earcups have a stem design, with the top half having a matte finish, while the bottom half is glossy. Each earbud is said to come with angled tips for a better fit.
The charging case will also sport the same pebble-shaped case. OnePlus will partner with Dynaudio to tune the earphones. The headphones will pack dual 11mm and 6mm drivers. They will offer features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 45db, spatial audio, support for LHDC 4.0 codec, etc.
Each earbud is rumored to offer up to six hours of battery life with ANC enabled. Without ANC, users can expect to get up to nine hours of battery life. The charging case will contribute to offering between 22 and 38 hours of battery life. It will also support fast charging and wireless charging.
