OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation flagship smartphones in India. The company is expected to launch at least two premium smartphones, namely OPPO Find X6 and Find X6 Pro. The exact launch date of the Find X6 series is unknown. Meanwhile, the rumor mill has started generating more and more details about OPPO’s upcoming flagship smartphones.
The latest information is about the OPPO Find X6 5G. Vanilla’s flagship model is likely to feature a triple camera setup at the back. Tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed (via) more details about the vanilla flagship’s camera sensors. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features and other details known so far of OPPO Find X6.
OPPO Find X6 Camera Specifications
The OPPO Find X6 5G will debut alongside the Pro model early next year in China. It is likely that it will debut in other markets as well. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Find X6 5G will also have a 50MP triple camera setup. However, the camera sensor will be different from the one rumored to be used in the Pro model. The tipster claims that OPPO will launch the vanilla flagship with a Sony IMX890 50MP sensor. The main camera will have support for optical image stabilization and an aperture of f/1.8.
In case you were wondering, the same sensor has been used in OPPO Reno 9 Pro and Reno 9 Pro+ 5G in China. The new OPPO Find N2 also has the same main camera sensor. The Find X6 Pro, on the other hand, is rumored to feature a 1-inch 50 MP Sony IMX989 sensor, which is also found in the Vivo X90 Pro+ and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Digital Chat Station further revealed that Find X6 5G will also get a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope lens. There is no information on the type of sensor. The telephoto camera could offer 2x or 3x optical zoom. The Find X6’s camera will be tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad. OPPO will also include its MariSilicon X NPU in the new flagship smartphone.
A leaked design rendering also showed off the massive rectangular camera module, which houses the triple camera setup and an LED flash inside. There is the Hasselblad brand to confirm the association.
In addition to this, the tipster revealed that the Find X6 will be quite chunky at 9.2mm. If you include the protruding camera module, the device will measure about 12.3mm. It will also weigh about 207 grams.
The Vanilla Find X6 is expected to feature either a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC or a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is also likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer standard 80W fast charging support. There could also be support for wireless charging.
