Who was Maurice Campbell?
Maurice Campbell was a student at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a second year student who was admired by everyone around him. Before coming here, Maurice attended Horace Mann College in New York.
He was a student of Health and Societies at Penn School. Outside of teachers, Maurice also contributed as a reporter for The Daily Pennsylvania. He worked in the sports division and covered a wide range of sports, including volleyball and basketball.
How did Maurice Campbell do it?
Maurice Campbell died on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. His actual age at the time of his passing is currently unknown, however he was reportedly in his early 20s. The loss of the young man’s life has left his friends and relatives in shock.
Campbell’s family said in the email to Penn Group that “they must think that [their] son is a little ripple of hope.”
“She was the voice of reason that would make people stop and think, even when the feelings were running very, very high,” her family added.
Campbell’s father, Maurice Campbell Sr., also revealed that his son cared deeply for his friends, family and the many people at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Memorial Sloan Kettering who “treated him with compassion” in the email. .
