PlayStation Plus’s lineup of essential monthly games for December 2022 may have leaked and it’s looking pretty good. The leak comes from Dealabs, which has so far been one of the most trusted sources of PS Plus gaming news. The lineup for December includes Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (PS4), Biomutant (PS4/PS5), and Divine Knockout (PS5/PS4).
It looks like we have 3 games that can be played on PS4 and 2 of them have been optimized for PS5 with improved performance, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, although it is a PS4 game, it contains performance improvements for all 3 games in the trilogy and can run a stable 60 FPS on PS5 by toggling the performance mode from settings.
Biomutant was one of the most exciting PS5 launch titles, receiving generally favorable reviews when it released in 2021. Divine Knockout is a fun fighting game with a unique third-person perspective, bringing another layer of engagement to the standard game formula. 2D fights like Smash. brothers

PlayStation Plus monthly games for December 2022 will probably be available from December 6
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is one of the best game collections currently available as it includes all 3 games in the trilogy. The game’s unique RPG storytelling places a lot of emphasis on choices and critical decision-making, with each choice having a ripple effect throughout the trilogy. This means that players will be able to see the results of their action from one game to the other 2.
Playing through the trilogy in the Legendary Edition is the ultimate way to experience the Mass Effect story, which is a barn. While the original Mass Effect hasn’t aged too well in terms of gameplay, the gripping narrative does enough of the heavy lifting to make the experience enjoyable. Mass Effect 2 improves on the original in all areas and delivers a masterful role-playing experience unlike anything seen since. The latest game in the trilogy ties everything together and provides a pretty satisfying conclusion, despite the inconsistencies.
Biomutant is one of the most creative games currently available on the platform, and while it wasn’t as popular as some of the other games of the year, it’s still a curious title that fans will want to check out. Divine Knockout looks like a really fun time and a solid party game with friends.
All 3 games are likely to be available for download starting December 6th. Right now, players can head over to the PlayStation Plus section to get the monthly games for November, which are:
- nioh 2
- LEGO Harry Potter Collection
- Celestial bodies
These games will be available to download until December 6. Once added to your library, the games will remain there for as long as you have an active subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential (or higher).
