Book of Power II: Ghost Season 3 will likely premiere sometime next year. Season 3 will follow Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) and his best friend Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo) as they continue to grow and expand their drug business.
So far, gangster Cane Tejada (Woody McClain) has been a major thorn in Tariq’s side, but Brayden could team up with him in season 3.
Cane will play an important role in season 3 of ‘Power Book II: Ghost’
for the first two seasons of Book of Power II: Ghost, fans have seen how Cane’s jealousy of Tariq gets in the way of his job. Now that the couple have apparently called a truce, Cane can focus on her true ambitions, leading her family’s organization.
“Cane is literally the best character in Energy right now; the boy is very funny and always thinking about Tariq’s next move and making silly and very entertaining decisions”, one redditor said. “I hope it survives until season 6 and eventually has a spin-off show. Cane is, to me, what the roles of Kanan and Tommy were. He is definitely my favourite”.
However, fans should also remember that Tariq vowed to get revenge on Cane for nearly taking his life.
Brayden and Cane will team up in season 3
In season 2, Cane tricked Brayden into joining him in framing Tariq for murder. In Season 3, it looks like the pair will team up again.
Only Cane, Brayden and Effie know the truth about Lauren’s (Paige Hurd) death. Also, in a recent episode of the crew has it, Paolo revealed that he and McClain had filmed at least one major scene together.
With Brayden trying to get deeper into the drug game but having to distance himself from Tariq, it seems Cane is the only person he can turn to.
Brayden’s journey will get much darker in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’
In addition to team up with cane and by keeping the truth about Lauren’s death from Tariq, Brayden is expected to take a much darker turn overall. “Just wait for it,” revealed Paolo in this is 50. “Brayden is getting darker and darker and deeper in the game. I think Season 3 is Brayden’s coming out party for who he really is. you’ll see I’m telling you.”
The actor even revealed that he hopes his character will really get his hands dirty this season.
“I want to kill someone, that’s like Brayden’s dream, I want to go deeper,” Paolo said in a instagram live with Power Universe creator Courtney Kemp. “I would like to get ahead or a romance; those are always fun, that kind of thing. I want him to see when he’s really in love and when he’s really with someone.”
