Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme 10 Pro series in India. The company has confirmed the launch of its new mid-range smartphones on December 8. The devices were already launched in China in November. The India variant of the Realme 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ 5G are expected to come with the same set of specifications. The company is rumored to make some modifications to the global variant, which will launch in Europe and a few other regions.
The global variant of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G is said to feature a different processor compared to the India variant. Let us take a look at the so far known specifications, features and other details of the global variant of the Realme 10 Pro series.
Realme 10 Pro Series Global Variant will include different hardware
The Realme 10 Pro series is expected to be available in more markets after its launch in India. The exact release date for the global market is unknown. A Mobile Octa report has revealed the design and specifications of both devices. According to the report, the top-of-the-line 10 Pro+ 5G will pack a Dimensity 920 SoC. This is the same SoC found in the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G. By comparison, the India variant is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, which is the same as the Chinese variant.
The device will have the same display and camera hardware as the China variant. There will be a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and QHD+ resolution. The device will also have a 20:9 aspect ratio. There’s a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the 16MP front-facing camera. With slim bezels around the screen, the phone has an impressive 93.65 percent screen-to-body ratio.
As for the camera, the 10 Pro+ has a triple sensor setup. There is a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. It will launch in three colors: Dark Matter, Nebula Blue, and HyperSpace. The first two will measure 160.2 × 73.3 × 8mm and weigh 173 grams, while the HyperSpace variant will measure 161.5 × 73.9 × 7.78mm and weigh 175 grams. The device will come with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
Moving on to the Pro model, the phone will sport a 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The screen is flat and shows off a perforated cutout at the top center. It will have a maximum brightness of 680 nits.
Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 695 SoC. The phone will launch with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and will support 33W fast charging out of the box.
There is a dual camera setup at the back. The phone has a 108MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front-facing camera. Both phones run Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
