Ree DrummondFood Network series pioneer woman It has made her one of the cable food channel’s most popular personalities. However, with that popularity comes criticism. Some viewers seem to have a hard time accepting Ree’s farm wife persona, stating that the overall message from her is “false”.
Ree Drummond pioneer woman series premiered in 2011 on The Food Network
Ree was a food blogger when she started filming pioneer woman in 2011 for The Food Network in it Pawhuska House, Oklahoma. Therefore, she was still trying to figure out how to act on camera during the first season of her cooking show.
In an October 2017 with delicious, Ree stated that she would like the “first 15 episodes” of her cooking show to be “scratched from the record”. She said: “I was so green. If I ever see one on TV, once in a while, I’m like, ‘Wow.’ I had no idea'”.
She continued, “I still feel like some days I’m not sure what I’m doing, but I didn’t know what I was doing at the time. But that’s all part of the process. It’s about sharing. I found a way to share my life on the ranch. Not only my life, but also my children’s (Paige, Todd, Bryce, Jamar and Alex Drummond Scott) and my husband’s [Ladd]. I’m glad that’s what the show is about, not just me.”
However, some viewers of ‘Pioneer Woman’ claim that the show sends a ‘false’ message

Although Ree has many fans who love to learn about her family and life on the Drummond ranch, some believe the family-run show sends a “false” message. Reddit fans believe that Drummond’s overall persona as a farmer’s wife is called into question when, in reality, she is a very successful businesswoman married to a lucrative rancher.
“She didn’t get this far without some grit, some grit, which doesn’t show on the show and which I think would make the show much more visible,” wrote one Reddit user.
“I can’t stand her housewife bullshit, as she’s not a docile housewife but a smart businesswoman. She looks really fake to me,” a second viewer wrote.
“This is my problem with her. I prefer it to show that she is a strong, business-savvy woman who enjoys cooking for her family and using the food to bring her loved ones together. She that is an amazing person to be,” a third fan explained.
“It is absolutely false. If Ree was honestly herself, she’d be fine. I know many women who choose to be stay-at-home moms who are incredibly bright women. But, his whole thing is an act. She was not a simple peasant girl who married a poor rancher. Ree came from money and married money. If she owned it, she would be great. I hate falsehood,” wrote a fourth viewer.
