The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will be launched as a successor to the Galaxy A33 5G, which launched earlier this year in India. The phone is likely to get some design improvements over the previous model. According to leaked design renders, the Galaxy A34 5G will sport a triple camera setup on the back. Like the upcoming Galaxy A14 5G, the Galaxy A34 5G will not have a camera module. Instead, the phone will feature three circular camera rings, next to which is an LED flash module.
The device also features a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen. While the sides and top bezel are relatively thin, the chin bezel is slightly thick.
The Galaxy A34 5G is said to sport a flat-frame design with slightly curved corners. This should help offer a comfortable feel and grip in the hand. The phone has the volume and power buttons on the right edge, while the bottom edge houses the USB Type-C port and the main speaker grill.
The report further revealed that the Galaxy A34 5G will have a 6.5-inch display. Measures approximately 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2mm. The other specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A34 5G are under wraps.
Samsung has not confirmed any details about the launch timeline of the Galaxy A34 5G. The phone is likely to launch as a mid-range offering in India. It could be priced at less than Rs 30,000 for the base model.
The Galaxy A33 5G is currently available for Rs 25,499 in India. For the price, users get a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 48MP quad camera setup. The phone features a 13MP front camera. It also comes with an Exynos 1280 SoC and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The Galaxy A33 5G runs Android 12 out of the box and has a One UI 5.0 layer on top.
