Samsung has been on a bender when it comes to rolling out the latest Android 13 update for its Galaxy phones. The South Korean tech giant is among the major smartphone companies that have rolled out the new One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 for its Galaxy devices. Samsung has already made the update available for the flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G. The company is in the process of making its new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update available for other eligible smartphones. The latest smartphone to get the new One UI update in India is the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G.

The device, which was launched in 2021, is now receiving the new Android 13 update. Samsung launched the smartphone in April 2021 in India with Android 11. The device then received the Android 12 update within a few weeks of launch. Samsung has now started rolling out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to the Galaxy M42 5G.
The new One UI 5.0 update rolling out (via) on the Galaxy M42 5G has the model number M426BXXU3CVK5. It also carries with it the November security patch. Users with a Galaxy M42 5G can go to Settings > Software update to see if they have received the new update. If not, you can expect your device to get the new One UI update in the coming days as it will roll out gradually.

Characteristics of a 5.0 user interface
