Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users in India get UI 5.0 update


Samsung is rolling out its new One UI 5.0 update for various Galaxy smartphones. The company has already rolled out its new Android 13 update for the Galaxy S22 series. Other premium smartphones like Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy S21 series, etc. have also received the new update. Samsung is scheduled to roll out the One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S21 series in December in India. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which launched earlier this year, is now getting the new One UI update.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE introduces an Exynos 2100 SoC in India. It also comes with a 12MP triple camera setup and a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The device came with One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Samsung is now rolling out the Android 13 update to users in India.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was launched in India in January 2022 with One UI 5.0 based on Android 12. The company is now rolling out the latest One UI 5.0 update. Samsung’s latest Fan Edition smartphone has received an update (via) with the model number G990EXXU3DVK4. Interestingly, the update does not come with the November security patch.

Users with a Galaxy S21 FE can go to Settings > Software to see if their device has received the update. The update is rolling out gradually. So, if your phone hasn’t received the update, Samsung will likely make it available in the next few days. Once you get the update, tap “Download and Install” and you should be good to go.

The new update gets some visual improvements while also getting new features. Samsung has made the notification shade duller in its new One UI update.
