sister wifeyes has documented the life of the Brown family throughout 17 seasons on TLC. The series has delved into the polygamous clan headed by kody brown, his wife steal, Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. However, they believe some wives have prepared their children better for life than others, saying Robyn’s children “don’t stand a chance” next to the “well-adjusted” families of Christine and Janelle.
Robyn, Christine and Janelle raise their children differently
What sister wives Fans have historically observed that Kody wives have a different approach to raising their children. Robyn appears to be what some would call a restless parent of her five children, while Christine and Janelle have allowed her children to make mistakes and learn from them.
For example, in a meeting during a previous season, Janelle and Christine’s older children discussed how, as children, they ignored fights or falls and moved on. In contrast, they cited how a younger Aurora, Robyn’s daughter, was very emotional about many things that would not have affected them.
Janelle’s oldest son, Logan, helped get the kids ready for school in the morning when she left for work relatively early. This led to the independence of her children. Stay-at-home mom Christine cared for 11 children while her and Kody’s sister wives worked. She therefore could not deal with all the disputes or problems between siblings, since there were too many children to handle.
Some viewers believe Robyn Brown’s children ‘don’t stand a chance’ against Christine and Janelle’s ‘well-adjusted’ children
that’s a great thing @realkodybrown I used to tell our children:
And my older children now give it back to me.

in a Reddit In the post, some viewers compared the parenting skills of three of the sister wives, not including Meri Brown, Kody’s first wife, who has a son, Leon. They believe that Christine and Janelle have given their children coping skills that will help them into adulthood, while Robyn has not.
“I feel so bad for Robyn’s children. I feel like they don’t stand a chance,” wrote one fan. “Janelle and Christine’s children are healthy, well adjusted and successful. I’m not sure it would work the same way for Robyn’s kids.”
“Cue Robyn making sure her kids know Christine is ditching them for her kids, just like she did for Thanksgiving 2021,” a second viewer surmised. They cited Aurora, Breanna, Solomon, and Ariella’s reaction to Christine at a meeting the night before she moved to Utah, where they were clearly angry about the situation.
“Well, most [of Robyn’s kids] they are adults and still living at home with no apparent responsibilities,” wrote a third fan.
Other viewers have called Kody and Robyn ‘selfish’ parents

the spectators called Kody and Robyn as “selfish” parents in a separate Reddit thread. They cited their belief that Robyn “infantilizes” her children, noting a daughter’s panic attacks and the youngest still using a pacifier at age 5.
“She infantilizes her children while at the same time not providing any structure and responsibilities. I can see why her daughter has panic attacks,” one viewer deduced. “Both parents prefer to live in a state of helplessness where everything is done ‘to them.'”
They concluded: “Unlike Christine and Janelle’s children, where adults encourage and facilitate young people to learn to be adults in a similar way to adults, Robyn’s children are encouraged to develop the same ‘learned helplessness’. ‘ That your parents”.
“A kindergartner without a seat belt and with a pacifier. I bet they didn’t want to deal with a tantrum. Very good breeding there,” wrote a second fan.
Kody and Robyn have also claimed that they allow their youngest daughter to set her own bedtime, sometimes at midnight or later, so they don’t have to deal with a cranky toddler in the mornings. Son Soloman has a regular bedtime while her older children are in high school and college.
