sister wives Fans have long suspected that Kody Brown has a favorite wife. His favoritism towards Robyn has been the main talk in social media groups for several years. But only recently have other wives, like Christine and Janelle Brown, been openly admitting it. However, one moment in season 17, in particular, has fans of the TLC show excited. They think it’s time to show Kody favors robin brown and their children especially.
Janelle Brown is ready to build on the family’s Coyote Pass lot, but Kody is late
Throughout season 17, Janelle has been very outspoken about wanting to build on the family’s Coyote Pass land. After losing her rental home, Janelle bought an RV to live on the property, supposedly as a way to encourage the family to start building.
The Browns bought the large parcel of land in 2018 after moving to Flagstaff, Arizona. The idea was to build separate houses for Kody’s four wives and her families. Kody also raised a secondary notion. She considered the idea of making one big house where all the families could live together, similar to her living conditions in Utah.
In a recent episode, Janelle and Kody verbally fought over building on the lot. First, she claimed that the family did not have enough money to pay the outstanding balance on the property. Then he told Janelle that they had money to make a down payment on Christine’s old house, where Janelle could live while she built her house.
Later, Janelle presented the plans to Kody, who stalled, saying the property needed to be subdivided into four to five lots now that Christine had left the polygamous clan. This confused Janelle as there were only three wives left.
‘Sister Wives’ fans believe this was the moment when Kody Brown favored Robyn Brown and her children.

When Kody told Janelle that he wanted to subdivide the original four-lot property into five, it was the moment that rang a bell for sister wives ignited fans Reddit. They think that moment spoke volumes about how much Kody favored Robyn and her children over her two remaining wives.
“Robyn has said so much. She said, ‘Each wife’s plot shall be her children’s inheritance.’ That was last season, I think. That got my attention. If this really is a family, shouldn’t all children receive the same inheritance? Now the wives leave or are expelled. It’s wrong,” one Reddit user deduced.
“Absolutely. The Sobyn Manor is very close to the CP [Coyote Pass] plots. Pay for the land with the other wives’ money, get rid of the wives, take ownership and pass it on to the children,” wrote a second viewer.
“And then all your family will live the magical lifestyle that Kody imagines. No other sister wives or other children allowed,” a third fan agreed.
“It makes sense since Kody doesn’t want to draw again even though they should need a lot less with Christine gone. I think that was a really clarifying moment for Janelle,” explained the fourth fan.
Janelle’s frustration with Kody’s behavior is evident
In a very revealing talking head, Janelle shared her frustration with Kody’s behavior towards her and their children. She shared her feelings in a clip posted from the December 11 episode of the series on a Reddit mail.
Before Janelle spoke in a solo confessional, she and Kody disagreed over her coronavirus (COVID-19) rules and how they affected her family. She told him, “You and I see it very differently, and it’s not all my fault.”
She continued: “I did what I could. She was walking a line between my adult children and everyone else. I followed all the CDC guidelines.” Janelle then accused Kody of claiming that she was a COVID denier and revealed that she did everything she could to protect the family from her, including getting vaccinated.
Janelle then dropped a bombshell. She admitted that she didn’t have to “stand up here and defend me. It’s the same old argument. I don’t need to be beaten to submit and bend. I am not; I do not need this.
“In the last 18 months I have realized that I am independent. I’m not going to stand here and get yelled at. I don’t need it and I don’t deserve it,” Janelle concluded as the clip closed.
