A Windows Central report claims that Snapchat finally has an app for the Windows operating system that is now available on the Microsoft Store for Windows. The Windows Central report states that Snapchat is arriving as a Progressive Web App or PWA in the Microsoft Store. This means that the app is based on the web version of Snapchat and is backed by Microsoft’s Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. This is not a full version of the application that we can see on smartphones. The app is only 1.4 MB in size. As the app is powered by Microsoft Edge, you will be able to see the app in the Start menu, notification stand, and in more places.

There are no official criteria on what your system requirements must be to run Snapchat, but a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating device is a must.
