‘Gidi Gidi’ hitmaker Nana Kwame Appiasei, known in the entertainment industry as Smallgod, has revealed that there are some artists who refuse to collaborate on his songs.
According to the Ghanaian music insider and businessman, after contacting a few artists to feature on his songs, not all of them accepted the offer to work with him.
He made these comments during a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye when he was explaining what happens when working with producers and musicians to release hit songs.
“It starts from the beat, so I sit down with the producers and we put together the idea, how we want to create the beat, where do I want the drums, where do I want the keys, guitar and brass,” Smallgod said on Kastle FM.
“So once we’re creating that, I start figuring out which artist goes on that beat, so when we’re done creating the beats, I contact the artist,” he added on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
“Obviously I put the rhythm on them and find out if they are interested in following the rhythm and most of the time they say yes, but sometimes they say no,” he revealed, monitored by MyNewsGh.com
