Nigerian artist Runtown has apologized to Ghanaians for not being able to attend a show he had been booked for.
He was expected to perform at the soundgodfest.
The Nigerian artist is the second after Wizkid failed to attend a show organized on his behalf in the name of “lack of proper security”.
Runtown, who had the courtesy to apologize to sponsors in advance, says he is looking for a new date where he can come and perform for his fans in Ghana.
The trend is becoming worrying considering the fact that Ghana has been the designated destination for most of the December events in Africa.
The failure of these artists to perform at events will affect Ghana’s image and could have future repercussions for the country’s tourism industry.
