Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from EA and Respawn Entertainment will be featured during The Game Awards on December 8. EA has confirmed that the prizes will feature a gameplay snippet of the next game. Earlier this week, it seems Steam went ahead and revealed a probable release date for the game of March 16, 2023.
It looks like EA is eyeing a spring release window for its next game and given the kind of critical acclaim its predecessor received, Jedi: Survivor could start the year off right for the publisher and studio. Respawn Entertainment is working on several exciting Star Wars projects at the moment, and the studio has confirmed 2 other projects, a first-person shooter and a strategy game.
Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated titles of 2023 and fans are eager to see what new adventures await Cal and his team in the sequel. Jedi: Survivor is a sequel to the excellent Jedi: Fallen Order, which was one of the best games in the Star Wars universe in gaming.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Rumored To Release In Spring, Gameplay Reveal Is Scheduled For December 8
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the best games to come out of the EA-Star Wars collaboration, presenting players with a compelling single-player narrative experience that was sorely lacking in the franchise. The game doubled down on its promise by incorporating elements into its gameplay inspired by games like Dark Souls. The game featured a deep combat loop with Metroidvania-style maps that included bonfire-like locations for players to save progress.
There’s a lot of hope in the sequel that it will improve on its predecessor’s foundation and really capitalize on what’s already a pretty good concept. It will also be interesting to see where Cal’s journey is headed and how close the game will be to the original trilogy. The game takes place before the events of Episode IV: A New Hope and shortly after Order 66, which saw the Jedi order decimated at the hands of the Empire.
The journey continues…

Jedi: Survivor looks like it could include a number of familiar faces to Star Wars fans, including the infamous Grand Inquisitor. The character is one of the most iconic villains in Star Wars: Rebels and has become one of the most terrifying adversaries in the Star Wars universe. It will be interesting to see how the game chooses to pair Cal and the Grand Inquisitor together and what role, if any, Cal plays in the Rebellion. The game is likely to be released on March 16, 2023 and The Game Awards will be broadcast live on December 9 at 6:00 am (Indian Standard Time).
