Nigerian musician, WizKid, has apologized to the Ghanaians for not performing at a show he was due to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium.
According to him, until the day of the show, there were production and security issues that prevented him from putting on a world-class show.
He says the decision he made was to protect his brand, which he holds in high esteem.
He has promised to put on a show for his fans in Ghana, stating that the venue and date of the show will be announced in due course.
Wizkid was billed to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 10 December.
However, the Nigerian artist did not turn up for the show which was said to be “sold out”.
Event backers who paid up to Ghc3000 for a table were disappointed after Wizkid failed to show up for the much-hyped event.
